I'm fascinated by your locations choice. I'll visit it because of what you wrote :

" the island is largely untouched by Western European tourists and is primarily populated by old Greek men gossiping over frappés and long-haired, free-loving hippies drawn by the spiritual nature and wild camping."

Interesting because I started to follow you because your writings about Cairo, Fayoum in Egypt. I grew up in Cairo but currently live in nyc after living in many beautiful parts of Canada, Europe and the US.

I used to visit Greece in my teenage years as my father travelled there a lot but we never left Athens because he was from Cairo and didn't trust himself to venture out to the interesting parts of Greece.

Absolutely enjoy your writing. Hope you're enjoying your time in Egypt. It's a fascinating culture with conflicting values, morals and a society with diverging generations like in many western countries nowadays.

Thank you for making me visit my old world through your eyes. Appreciate it beyond words.
